Founded in 1945 by Mario Bortolin. The first activity, carried out in inexpert way, dealt with the wine pouring small plants in the public places (restaurants, pubs). During the 60s the first bottling necessities began and Mario was one of the first people to suggest small linear filling machines, then in cooperation with other companies, the first bottling lines, with rotary machines. An old yellowing photo reminds to the first SIMEI in Milan in 1963. In the 70s with the necessity of greater power bottling lines and so with a greater necessity of mechanization, the company decided to specialize in the end line machines: the crate packing, case packing, the palletizing. In the same years the Kemo Industries was acquired. It was a specialized company in the machine building for the production of metallic caps, with seat in Aviano (PN). In 1987 both companies Bortolin and Kemo Industries created the BORTOLINKEMO SPA. In 2000 the two productive units were jointed, after a necessary expansion of the company, in Porcia. In 2005 was founded the BORTOLINKEMO NE LTD to follow the marketing in North Europa, and in United Kingdom in particular. Nowadays Bortolin Kemo is operating in two different sectors of marketing, even if in the common landscape of the packaging operation: - The Packaging sector with the production of machine dedicated to the packaging: Cases erectors, partition inserters, case packers, cases closing devices, depalletizers and palletizers, bottles, cases, pallets transport system. Besides, solutions with completed lines are being studied and suggested, which include also machines built by other people, for example a person in charge and a serial number foreman. - The Closures sector with the production of machines dedicated to the metallic and plastic closures cutting and drawing pressing machine, linear and rotary elongation machines, border machines, coil or previously cut sealing inserter machines, slitting machines and folding with warranty spring, assembly machines for composed closures. The technical structure is always involved into the research and development of new technical and technological innovations. Many solutions are covered by patents stored at worldwide and European level. In the line signed by the founder, BORTOLINKEMO, although it is a modern business organization, respectful of the rules and tasks and with a SPA company structure, remains a relative company. This situation makes us conscious of the value of the human relationships based on the correctness, honesty, and respect, which are always the foundation of all the relations, whether internally with whom is working for the company, or externally towards customers, suppliers and institutions.
